Well done. Strong. Holds snap rings well and better than most other tools. The only downside is that the sharp ends can damage themselves or other surfaces as there is no protective sheath covering the forged ends of the shares. I wish I had bought them many years ago because they are so much better thanks to most other similar tools with interchangeable tips. Highly recommended

KNIPEX generally make great tools and circlip pliers have not let me down. It's worth paying a little more for a quality tool as the tool will stand the test of time, which I believe based on my experience with other Knipex tools. Knipex has been manufacturing tools for decades. still made in Germany where the quality and attention to detail shows in the end product.

I bought one of those "fully adjustable" snap ring pliers from Home Depot and they just didn't cut it. Too flexible to feel when you have a ring and too thick to fit where you need it. These pliers from Knipex are the right tool for this. They're tough, tight, and precise so you feel what you're doing. Also, the pins are spaced apart at the ends, which helps hold the ring in place when you remove it. pleasure in use.
