    This 1/4 inch foot works great on my feather light machine

    This 1/4 inch foot works great on my feather light machine. Glad to find it on Revain's list because the store I go to for the service has a different 1/4 inch foot and it's not as easy to use.

    This foot is perfect for my featherweight and has 1/4 " precision stitching.

    . Not the meager 1/4" but the regular 1/4". This is an issue you Can't move the needle left or right on older machines People who don't quilt shouldn't invent quilting tools I can only give it five stars because it's there and does what it says it does.

    make my life easier Then let!

    Who doesn't love something that makes life easier? As a beginner quilt, I was having a bit of trouble with the concept of a tight 1/4 inch stitch until someone recommended this wonderful sewing foot to me. Now I get this stitch right every time, using the little foot as a guide. I even bought a few for my friends!

    Quilting on Old Sewing Machines

    Trying to find old sewing machine parts for sale is a real disappointment. But those old sewing machines are the Mack Trucks of the sewing world. They just don't make them the way they used to be. Finding a 1/4" presser foot for a 65 year old sewing machine is a really good thing!

    Put some paper between the presser foot holder and the press bar to get a measly quarter inch.

    As one reviewer pointed out, this is not a measly quarter inch. It's more like a quarter inch + side. To adjust it, I placed three folded paper towels (1/4" x 3/8") in the foot holder between the sewing bar and the foot holder. Poke a hole in the center of the paper towel with a stiletto. Then slide the foot through the paper towel. This is how you can adjust the small width.
