These little supplies are perfect for my DC motor projects. They're holding up pretty well considering I've mistreated them. giggle

I connected mine, there is no current on the output contacts, I probed back and did not find a constant current anywhere. I'm sending mine back. i want it to work

I am using this to power an LED pool light of around 80w. That works great! Transistors only heat up to 100°F at 90°F ambient (38°C at 32°C ambient). I installed it in a switch panel and use it to power a 100w LED chip in my pool lights. That plus a chip and a few resistors made a much brighter replacement for my failing Pentair Intellibrite 5G! Also, it's about $450 cheaper.

I got this a few months ago for a desktop power supply I'm making but due to other projects I'm just getting started. It's my fault for not testing it when I received it and trusting the product to work. The first thing I noticed upon opening it was that the edge of the circuit board was cracked from an impact. Plugged in and nothing. no output voltage. I have to disassemble it for parts because the return window is boarded up. Lesson learned. test right away.

I've read some bad reviews of this power supply from people who had trouble getting it to work. When I received my power supply I did a very thorough inspection and found that the solder joints on one side of the board were too short to indicate that some of the connectors may have been capped. I resoldered bad connections before applying power and had absolutely no power issues. Haven't tried the full output current yet, I bet the voltage is stable to at least two amps.
