I have an old house

and I needed something of this design to shut an old window upstairs when the wind comes and constantly opens the window. this was an idea I hadn't seen before going through many latches that were pretty well the same. I like the design and the unique way it installs and protects my upstairs. very grateful This is very practical and I can't thank you enough! Don't expect to use the screws that come with it if security is your aim

Hasps are rather generic. This one has an extra hinge. Even with that - for my application I needed to bend it. I found no issues with the actual hasp. But, It comes with 8 very small wood screws - that may be ok if you're just using it to hold a door or lid closed. Apparently, that was the purpose of some reviewers as you can see from their review pictures that they left some of the mounting screws exposed. I was more concerned with security and drilled out the holes in the lock ring to 1/4"…

Great idea. I had no idea that these existed.

HINGED HASP WAS GREAT SOLUTION TO KEEP MY FENCE LOCKED SINCE A REGULAR HASP DIDNT QUITE FIT. TOOK 5 MINUTES TO INSTALL. I USED 2 INCH SCREWS TO BORE INTO THE WOOD.

Pros
  • No problems. Good materials. I installed it on a Rubbermaid shed. Easy to install.
Cons
  • Not Durable- The plastic material of QCAA Closet Pole Socket may not withstand long-term use and may break easily

Bad finish. - my new review

I ordered this for a toy chest I made for my nephew and both came with big scratches on them so I got a new pair and yet again scratches on both. They function well, but the finish durability is trash

  • It's good and sturdy. The screws are a bit short but not to bad.
Cons
  • Poor Quality- The overall quality of the product may not meet the standards of customers, the material may be low-grade plastic leading to unpleasant experiences while installation

Easy to intall. Would recommend.

I intalled this for about 4 months now and is working great. I bought this because of the angle i had on my nesting box. It was easy to intall and sturdy. Would recommend.

  • These were easy to install and they do the job.

  • Expensive- Comparing to the quality of the product, the price is a bit of an overkill, making it an unattractive purchase for customers to consider
