Totally worth the premium pricing!

I own 2 other hitch cargo carrier trays, a smaller ATV raised style and the standard 60' wide metal wired bottomed trays. Both of those work and for the price, I think they're worth it., but this curt aluminum tray is on another level. The other cheaper ones I have are steel so they're heavy and the edges are a little sharp and the welds don't look that nice. The powder coating on them also fades in the sun after just one summer and all the joints start to show some surface rust after a winter…

Sturdy, lightweight, handsome appearance—maybe, NOT SO STURDY!

I ordered this to carry my portable generator behind my RV. It is sturdy and light-weight, as advertised. I took it in to my dealer, to make sure the RV hitch is sturdy enough to hold the load.I had no trouble un-attaching it at home. I will review again, after I’ve had experience hauling my generator with it. The Perfect Hitch Cargo Carrier

I am a deer hunter and use a Jet Sled to get my deer out of the woods. I needed a carrier that had an inside diameter of 20.5 inches wide, so my sled can fit into the carrier. The Curt Carrier was the only Carrier available on revain with an interior width of 20.5. This coupled with its sturdy design, lite weight, ease of installation and removability make this carrier ideal for my needs. weak welds on my review.

i got this used, it was just supposed to have some scratches. but when i got it it was extremely dented in from the rear making it so the bottom braces were falling out. not sure if it happened during shipping. it doesn't look like it had been installed, so that leads me to believe this thing is pretty weak. pretty disappointed i dont plan on buying the same thing to replace it.

Receiver tube out of square with too much powder coating to fit.

Thought when I paid extra I was getting a quality product, I have always been happy with Curt product’s in the past and I don’t normally leave negative reviews but this one pissed me off. First off I love the rack, I love that’s it’s black and aluminum and the steel support underneath. The bad part was I just spent about and hour and a half in the South Carolina sun using a Dremel to grind the extra thick powder coating off the male receiver and squaring up the metal because it would not go…

Apparently my call *isn't* that important

The unit came with only one of two reflectors. Instead of returning it to revain, I tried to call the manufacturer to send out a replacement. I called the number on the instructions, but gave up after 25 minutes on hold. I tried the Product Support number on revain four times, but twice the message "No one available" and twice "Cannot complete your call" came up.Looking carefully at the one reflector, it is simply a stuck on, rather than being screwed or bolted. A few cents saved, perhaps, but…

Poor packing. best in my review

It came in a beat up box. The basket part has several dents from the hitch section beating on it. Considering returning it. It cost more than most, very disappointing!

What was shipped - was NOT new!

I hate writing a negative review, but this was so bad - I can't avoid it. The box was clearly taped and you could see where an old shipping label was removed. Missing 2 eye bolts, 2 U clams and 2 nuts! You need 4 of each. I could go to Lowes and buy them I guess - but at the same time this was terribly scratched. For this amount of money - I woud like to start with a NEW product! It will get scratched, but I'd like them to be my fault not arrive that way!The positive - this is truly light…

For the price I’m not sure if it was worth $268 plus tax. The total came out to $285. The item I received from Trend Auto looked like it was previously opened and then sent back. Whoever packed it up did a poor job. The steel receiver hitch part was loose and put a dent in the side rail. I contacted Trend Auto about the return and they were slow to respond. It’s a large item so it’s not easy to return. You would have to repackage the item to keep it from getting furthered damaged. It doesn’t…

Rock Solid in my review

Solid piece of equipment and just what I needed. Can be difficult to access for loading and unloading. Lightweight, sturdy construction and IT CAME WITH THE EYE BOLTS!

Awesome ligth weight aluminum cargo carrier

Light weight and easy to put in the 2" receiver. Only negative is the Shank Portion could be a little longer to deal with the spare tire on my Jeep Wrangler. For normal applications it should not create an problem.
