I kept getting a random flushing system code on my 2003 Dodge Ram 4.7 regular cab. Very easy to install. Looked just like the original.

My wife's car had a check engine light on, I plugged it in and got a code that pointed to the gas cap, I checked that it was on properly, but the light went back . So I got this replacement and it fixed the problem.

Bought this to replace my OEM gas cap as I got a fuel tank light and a check engine light with an evap code. Thought it would solve the problem, but it doesn't. My guess is that the gasket is rubbish and not completing the seal. As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for.

My check engine light was on whenever I filled the tank with gas. I noticed that my lid no longer closes properly. My jeep is 15 years old and things are wearing out! I searched online and found one and installed it and it's been working GREAT ever since! I think it was $15. Jeep wanted $40. I think it was my win!

Looks and feels like an exact replacement for the factory cap. It includes a strap that attaches it to the truck, which others I've bought for various vehicles don't have. I think it's good that you don't have to hold it when you fill up. My truck showed the check engine light for gas fumes and that fixed the problem. I great price!

Why I bought this: The Check Engine light came on, I pulled out codes from Amazon's Foxwell, P0456 and P0441. Easiest way to replace a 9 year old gas cap on my 86k mile car (Fiat 500, 2012, Pop). Never cleared codes, serviced, increased vacuum pressure (more is better), lights went out after I had to pull wires from battery to fit those cloth safety clamps.

Fits perfectly on my 2013 Fiat 500 and fixes the check engine light. The trouble code he corrected was P0456. Much cheaper than the $130 CarMax just wanted for a diagnostic test! I'm sure buying the part from them or Fiat would be a lot more expensive too. The part was delivered in two days...while I waited over a week to even schedule an appointment with a mechanic to look at my car. Thank goodness I don't need an appointment anymore! I will update if anything changes.
