not worth your money!

The tube is made of the cheapest plastic. It was necessary to leave it in stock, do it according to the instructions, twist everything as it should. After driving the truck for 1 hour it wouldn't turn on when I turned it off. Definitely no horsepower gain and bad on the gas! Save time, money and hassle!

Pros
  • Sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • No.

Check the motor in the air intake

This product is great! For anyone getting code P0171 (too bad). This is because you are not using a Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor. I bought one from Jet Performance and no codes. I've been driving the car for 9 months with no codes. Keep in mind that a performance MAF costs about $170.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Not the best

K&N FI Performance Kit Gen2

I installed this kit on my 2005 GMC Canyon SLE 3.5 5 cylinder. Off-corner acceleration hasn't increased significantly, but once you get into the powerband the increase is very noticeable. From 3,000 to 6,000 rpm, torque and acceleration feel great. However, this significantly increases engine noise. Apparently I changed the exhaust. If you are looking for more power I would recommend this kit!

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Good but not great

GREAT PERFORMANCE, AGGRESSIVE SOUND!

2006 Hummer H3 3.5 I5 First of all why did they put such a bad engine in the Hummer. BUT it's an inexpensive way to increase horsepower, torque and fuel economy. I highly recommend. Easy install and it was fun. It sounds strange but working on your car creates a kind of connection, in any case the engine noise was much more significant when the engine was revving or when the pedal was pressed. Sounds like I added an exhaust system, keep that in mind when adding this. I have this and a Gibson…

Very nice, No.: Filter

There is no doubt that this is a high-quality product. However, adding it to the 2006 Hummer H3 caused a lot of problems; Jacked up the DMRV, the electronic pedal doesn't know how to boost the octane, and the list goes on. If I wasn't a mechanic and couldn't diagnose problems I would sell it or take the loss and put the original system back on the Hummer. I am very happy that everything has worked out now. Be aware that you will run into some issues if you install this on your old rig. Just be…

Great intake system for Chevy Colorado

The intake tract fits like a charm once I put everything together. There are quite a few small parts in this set. Unfortunately the bag with all the gear in the box was torn and everything was lost. It took me a little time to carefully unpack and inspect all the hardware before beginning the installation. Once that was done, it took about an hour and a half to remove the stock intake system, reassemble it, and install the new intake system. Looks great and sounds great. It definitely feels…

Great guide, easy to install

Great guide, easy to install. However, I removed it today March 23, 2018 after having it on my Hummer H-3 for 10 months. I kept having issues with the mass air flow sensor turning off the code and putting the car into emergency mode. This release prompted the Hummer to sell this week when I told a buyer about previous releases. If I hadn't had a scan tool in my car when the code was triggered I would have been the unhappiest camper. It is not worth risking this technique and facing this…

Get up and go!

I've been waiting for months to post my reviews and comments to give an objective review. Once installed, along with the throttle body gasket, we immediately saw the check engine light, as mentioned in several other reviews; K&N customer service was very responsive and a simple cleaning of the air sensor solved the problem. Significant increase in intake from both standing and speed. The H3 climbs to 7,000 feet much better and at lower RPMs than before installation. Gasoline mileage varies but…
