Effective for pottery drainage holes.

Overall, these are neither pretty nor cheap, but they are effective. I have had terrible luck with traditional bits on difficult surfaces like ceramic and glass and broke more of my wife’s pottery than I have successfully drilled drainage holes through. Since pottery isn’t cheap—especially the sort of pottery my wife is a fan of—I needed something that would work. Not worth it at all.

These are incredibly disappointing. There is glue everywhere on the ends, and on some the actual piece isn’t even glued on straight. These are flea market quality at best. It doesn’t even matter if they will get the job done because they are going to fall completely apart before they can be used on a project start to finish. I would not have been happy with these for less than $10. Not recommended at all.

Used for craft project

I wanted to drill a small hole in the bottom of a bottle for a craft project and though my dremel was a little to small for the task. These diamond bits did a nice job of grinding through the glass and left a nice smooth hole. Using a drill press with slow down pressure worked well and the bit didn't wobble. I will try them in concrete blocks with a hand drill when the weather gets a litter nicer.

Cut Like a Hot Knife.

I've never used a diamond core bit before and this thing really cut through the tile with ease. Minimal effort to drill the hole. I certainly be using these for other materials. I'm posting update after I use them a few times.
