I love these bags.: my feedback

The only thing wrong with thus is the lack of a drawstring. Having said that I would buy this again and again and again. Sturdy, large, and compostable. What more do you need?

Pros
  • Household Supplies
Cons
  • Compostable bags may not be as readily available as traditional bags

strong bags - my new review

After using these bags for a year, I am happy to report that they are strong, unlike some other compostable bags on the market. Even if there have been soggy things at the bottom for a week or so, there seems to be no danger of the bag dissolving or ripping. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • These bags are very strong and perfect for my recyclables.
Cons
  • Not heavy duty. Poor value

Hands Down Best Trash Bags Ever!

I have tried almost every trash bag brand and they all end up falling inside the can. Every time. I stumbled upon these and liked the idea of them being compostable. I bought them and couldn't be happier. Not only are they strong and durable but they fit the can PERFECTLY! It holds tight at the top and has yet to fall in the can. I'll never buy a different brand.

Pros
  • Recognized and respected by eco-friendly individuals and entities
Cons
  • They may not be as easy to purchase as traditional bags

Easy to use for my opinion

I like the bag dispenser, which reduces storage space and keeps it neat. Nice color. So far, no spillage problems. Sturdy.

Pros
  • Affordable for cost-conscious consumers
Cons
  • The bags may not have the same level of popularity as traditional bags

Not for litter box on my review.

I used trash bags for cat litter and decided that for the environment I'd try these. What a mess! Too short for cat box. I ended up having to cleaning out the box and put it in an regular plastic bag. Researchung other alternatives. This idea failed.

Pros
  • Great for not too heavy trash.
Cons
  • The bags may not fit all types of trash cans

these do NOT fit a 13 - 15 gallon kitchen trash can.

I ordered these 13 - 15 gallon kitchen trash bags for all of my daughters and for our household and they don't fit the kitchen trash can. they fit the bathroom trash cans! not sure who measured these but the packaging size is not correct.

Pros
  • Creates a positive action on environmental issues as consumers feel good
Cons
  • Compostable bags may not be as effective at reducing environmental impact as expected

Compostable! in my review

Very convenient packaging. Easy to reach, can be hung on the wall or cabinet door. Instruction on the back of the box Bags are packed separately, they never unwind if accidentally dropped. Well, the most important plus - they are сompostable!updbetter price available, check it

Pros
  • Wish they have ties
Cons
  • Does not fit tge curbside relooking composter barrel. TOO SMALL

Perfect, study compostable bags!

While these don't fit quite as much in them as a standard plastic 13 gallon bag, they are extremely sturdy and don't break down before you have a chance to fill them up and toss them. It's also a huge plus that they have a tab that allows you to hang the box and pull them out as needed (the box is also compostable/recyclable cardboard). Worth the money!

Pros
  • Little pricy but sturdy for kitchen left overs for composting. Very handy holds heavy refuse
Cons
  • They may not be as widely accepted as traditional bags for disposal

Good bags that are surprisingly tough

These compostable bags are very lightweight, yet tougher than expected. Probably not big enough for taller kitchen garbage cans, but they work for me. Great to hve around the house.

Pros
  • They tend to rip on sides
Cons
  • The compostable material may attract insects and pests

No way to close on my review.

There is no tie or twists or anyway to close them other than to leave enough room to tie them closed. Not sure as to strength or durability because can't fill it very full due to having to tie it to close it. Love the idea of green but was looking for something that works more like a trash bag.

Pros
  • Promotes a waste-free lifestyle and encourages responsibility for the environment
Cons
  • The compostable material may not have the same properties as traditional bags

Strong and long lasting compostable bags

So far these are great. They seem really strong and like they last for an extended period of time in my kitchen trash without disintegrating. I will definitely get these again. Also there is a very handy cut out in the box that can be used as a dispenser. Well done.Over a year later and I just finished this box. These were fantastic and I am buying more. I did not have any of them breaking open up on me or disintegrate and I did not need to use a second to double the bag because of that…

Pros
  • Suitable for a variety of trash, including food scraps, organic waste, and general trash
Cons
  • Compostable bags may not be as effective at minimizing litter as expected

Sketchy, Questionable Material

Unknown "biodegradable" material used. Suspect. Is not the same as other biodegradable bags.Look elsewhere as I will in the future. Horrible and had to return.

Pros
  • Helps to reduce the carbon footprint of individuals and organizations
Cons
  • The compostable material may not be as widely accepted as traditional materials

Made in China, fulfilled by Best Buy. Product packaging has NO product information at all. No size, quantity, thickness of bags or any information about the product at all. Plus, these bags in general tend to run a little small. No consumer info is why the lower scores. Pretty sure this is in violation of U.S. Consumer Protection/Labeling laws.

Pros
  • Fits standard 13-15 gallon trash cans or bins
Cons
  • The bags may not be as desirable to consumers as traditional bags

Compostable for my opinion

If something is compostable, how can it be as strong as something which is not? The biggest problem is that the bags start to compost in the kitchen waste container before it is taken outside if the garbage is at all wet. I have taken to putting non dry garbage. (Bones, meat scraps etc). Into secondary plastic bags for extra containment. Nothing I wouldn’t toss anyway. This works quite well

Pros
  • These stand up well. I feel I’m helping the ecology by using them
Cons
  • The bags may have a shorter shelf life than traditional bags

Glad to get biodegradable bags that work

I wanted to have some kitchen trash bags that would biodegrade over time - I stopped using plastic bags quite a while back and have been trying to reduce waste in general. We also have curbside organics/compost pickup, but we don't use a bag for that. I just didn't want any trash that might possibly be able to decompose to be stuck for eternity in a plastic bag. Previously, I'd tried using a couple different kinds of compostable bags that had fallen apart when I was taking the trash out. These…

Pros
  • Trash, Compost & Lawn Bags
Cons
  • The compostable material may not have the same texture or feel as traditional bags

Durable and fragrance-free.

Loved everything about these bags, could have been maybe 2 gallons larger but loved the fact that since I'm extremely allergic to all fragrances and chemicals that this was fragrance free.

Pros
  • I like the strength of these bags.
Cons
  • Do not see how the gags can be pulled out. Also hard to open the open end.

Amazing alternative to single use plastic.

The bags are a little pricey but worth it for the value of their being biodegradable. The switch to these bags has been unnoticeable. The quality is good. No regrets.

Pros
  • Reduces the need for plastic bag recycling or disposal
Cons
  • They may not be as ergonomically designed as traditional bags

These trash bags are durable, reliable, and kind to the Earth without breaking the bank. I love these bags.As far as value for the money, that is a personal decision. I would rather spend a little extra money on something which will allow me to collect biodegradable trash in a biodegradable bag instead of a bag which will take centuries to degrade into something unhealthy for the Earth. I sleep better for the few extra $ I spend on these bags. So, yes, comparatively, with other biodegradable…

Pros
  • Ideal for everyday use in the home or office
Cons
  • Compostable bags may not be as readily accepted in all communities

Love this bag best in my review

Compostable garbage bag. So far I am loving it. I don’t compost but I wanted something that is environmentally safe and these fill the bill.

Pros
  • Ideal for people with allergies or respiratory issues, as plant-based materials do not release toxins
Cons
  • The bags may not be as comfortable to handle as traditional bags

Environmental friendly and cheaper than name brands

I was buying biobags for my compost bin for a while now. But I want to switch over to using compostable bags for all of my garbage. Plastic is bad for the environment! But the biobags aren't cheap. So I was happy to find an alternative that's cheaper but still biodegradable. These bags have a bonus: they come with a cute box that can be used to dispense the bags. Overall definitely recommend these.

Pros
  • No need for separate trash bins, easy to sort through and manage
Cons
  • They may not be suitable for all types of garbage
