It was a worthwhile purchase!

Very happy with the whole process. Delivery was quick and all items were in good condition. I was very impressed with how helpful the instructions were with pictures and diagrams. Most aftermarket upgrades like this have very minimal guidelines. The installation went smoothly and I am very happy with the result. The intake works great with my exhaust system (v8) and offers better tone and faster throttle response. Thank you K&N!

Revain and K&N are a good match.

available Again, K&N and Revain helped me. The order was dispatched immediately and arrived safely. The K&N air intake system is a professional product that is easy to install and delivers more power (approx. 14 hp more) and fuel efficiency (from 17.2 to 18.8 mpg). The only downside is that it increases engine noise under hard acceleration, but that's to be expected with the increase in throttle response that the K&N induction system offers. Thanks again for the good work.

Pretty easy to install. Took me about 30 minutes.

Easy installation. Took me about 30 minutes. Didn't notice a big difference. I hear a faint "whistle" when I step on it, but it's nothing critical. Overall I'd say it's not a worthwhile upgrade if you don't have the cash to toss around. In conclusion I would like to argue that this is not a true cold air intake as this filter is not really isolated from the rest of the engine compartment. So the air it brings is hot air. 4Runner Pick-me-up fits filter

I've been installing it for several years now. Have you noticed a huge increase in performance? (I think 13hp is claimed). Not sure. I figured the extra power would make me not pedal as it's hard to move, thus saving gas. More power + better fuel economy = win/win. How much did I notice in both cases? Not really.
