Don't worry about airbags anymore.

Perfect for 2001 Lincoln Towncar. The hardest part is removing the old suspension and shock absorbers. The rest is easy. So good I ordered another one for my 2000 Crown Vic.

  • Heavy Duty Construction
Cons
  • Hardware

Excellent kit. Fits perfectly.

Works great. $104 fix for $400+ air system problem. You'll never have to worry about it again and the ride will be pretty much the same. It was pretty easy to install for a weekend mechanic. A+++

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons

I think I like it better as it's not as "booty "

I didn't use shock absorbers but as for the springs I can't tell them apart from the air spring. . I think I like it more because it's not "booty". very high quality product and at full price!

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • No power

Problematic air suspension removed from Towncar

Including GAS shock absorbers! It's easy to remove the airbags, deflate the remaining air by piercing the old bag. The upper shock nut is a chore. Spray the top nut with penetrating oil. Cut open the plastic casing to expose the stem. Long wrench 9/16 for the top nut. A vise or pipe wrench rotates the rod and loosens the top nut. Glue the new grommet/washer/nut together, thread it into the top hole and have a partner hold it with a long wrench. Take the steel shock absorber boot and screw inโ€ฆ

  • Best in its niche

Why didn't I do this 5 years ago?

Everything fits my 1998 Lincoln TC perfectly. They give you EVERYTHING you need to turn old junk air into regular coils. Pretty easy job. It only took me 3 hours, even without an elevator. Fix a leaking air spring at a fraction of the cost! * note. You need a spring compressor. Most auto parts stores will lend you one. UPDATE: After driving about 500 miles. You can hardly tell what the difference is between them and air travel. I thought it would be a little more difficult, but I was wrong. The

Great product at a reasonable price

This is a complete and top quality conversion kit. I also bought this kit and the front kit. Front and rear conversions, including installation at a local shop, cost less than $450; the front end isn't really a rebuild - just a spring and damper change. The quality of the dampers is excellent, the ground clearance is perfect and the handling is better. The ride is a little rougher on bumpy roads, but basically the same on the interstate. This is a good product at a fair price. My car is a 2000โ€ฆ

Pros
  • Sturdy build
Cons
  • Dull packaging

I'm glad they turned out good Parts

Read reviews asking people that they weren't happy with the parts but I didn't have money for more expensive parts so I got them anyway and Believe it or not my mechanic had no problem fitting them apart from the rubber parts which I was expecting but they fitted them and in my opinion the car drives very well. I'm very glad I don't have the same problems some unfortunate people have had + my mechanic also said he had dealt with the company before and although he told me I should have used more
