🐎 Enhance Horsepower with K&N Cold Air Intake Kit: Perfect Fit for 2006-2009 FORD (Fusion) 69-3514TTK Review

Installed on my 2010 Fusion SE 2.5L 6spd. Got in easily, took about an hour to remove the old air intake and install the K&N. a pleasant growl under hard acceleration, but no increased noise at cruising speed. I noticed a bit more lift and got about 2mpg on mixed highway and city driving. On the highway alone, consumption is just under 6 mpg. A great product, worth every penny and even better from Revain as it's about $100 less than the auto parts store.

I'm not a mechanical engineering guru but I really like this inlet. First of all, it has a 1 million mile guarantee and is made in the USA, so thanks for that. In terms of performance, I noticed a slightly more responsive throttle pedal. If you open the windows you can actually hear the filter sucking in air. I wanted a little more low end pickup but didn't want a harsher exhaust note so I went with the intake. when idling you can hear it sucking air under the hood. When you sit on it, the car shifts smoother in all gears and throttle response is much better. I don't have to step on it as often as I used to and it pulls slight hills. I'm not sure I would trust any other brand's CAI as fitment can be an issue and can also cause MAF issues. Working with a well-known brand gives me security.
