Good build quality and good recoil. I use it as a system monitor (via Rainmeter) and as a hotkey touch app launcher (via RocketDock). Power User Tip: On Windows, you must calibrate it using the system search "calibrate the screen for pen or touch" for the touchscreen function to work properly.

This touchscreen is cheaper than some that don't even come with a case or power adapter, so it's already 4 stars. However, the fact that it works out of the box with Windows and some Android operating systems, and that it can be powered from the same USB port used for touch input, bumps it up to 5 stars.

I wanted to use this as an extra screen to play a flight sim. Unfortunately I had too many problems with it. It didn't respond to touches on the extreme edges and sometimes it lost touch ability in certain parts of the screen and I had to tap in the center of the screen before it worked again. Overall, there are too many little quirks to make it enjoyable. This might work better for simpler applications, but I don't recommend using it as an instrument or FMC display for a flight simulator.

I use it as a monitor for computers that are in vehicles, are usually installed in the trunk and have no easily accessible connections except for a USB and an HDMI. This monitor is powered via USB-A to Micro-USB and a full-size HDMI port. The included 1-foot cables include an HDMI cable and a micro USB cable. Slight learning curve with the extensive customization features, but worth it to view everything on my 7" monitor (I have a huge Corsair 1000D case with plenty of room). Use this screen as a third screen for my space constrained PC setup. I mainly use it for work. It can also be used as a streaming deck, or as a nice way to save all your symbols and keep the rest of your screens free. The functions are really endless. I wouldn't recommend using it for videos, although it's cool to use with Spotify or anything else since you're taking your playlist from work, streaming or whatever.
