Well Made Overall, But Gave Me A Difficult Time

The sock aid is made very well, but it’s a lot wider than other’s I’ve used and I had a hard time actually getting my socks to fit over it. The grabber says it can pick up 5 pounds, but then the manual says it’s better if you only lift about 2 pounds. The silicone inside the grab claw just has these thin little flaps in the center with some ridges right at the tip. My car keys only weigh ½ a pound and the grippers dropped them several times and it took some maneuvering to pick them up. They…

Convenient, but you get what you pay for (or perhaps a bit less)

The good: delivery was prompt, the pieces are all there, and they generally work.The indifferent: Mine came with a sponge on a stick rather than a pouf. That was fine with me. Not sure what the bag is supposed to do, as only one piece in the set will actually fit in there.The bad: The sponge started to detach from the stick after one use. One of the two grabbers broke after about 3 weeks of minimal use. If that's all you need it for, then great. Given that my recovery will be about 12-16 weeks,

Helpful for almost anyone in a lot of ways

I didn’t have any knees replaced but still find this bundle super handy. First – the two grabbers are AWESOME! I literally just gave my grabber away as compared to these two it was garbage. : ) Really – the grabbers are GREAT! They fold securely. They pick up small stuff – they pick up heavy big stuff. Knee replacement aid

Wearing compression stockings and limited bending of my knee (as in right out of surgery is zero bending) putting on socks this helps keep the compression socks from rolling up. Really Useful Tools!A MUST for hip, knee and back patients. The tools allow socks and shoes going on effectively and efficiently. Good value!

Update- Absolute must for hip replacement

One of my grabbers broke! I am truly disappointed since I use them all the time. I have missed the replacement time, but I wish I could at least have one grabber replaced.I have used the grabbers more than the leg lift or dressing tool. Since it’s summer, the sock tool wasn’t useful. I really didn’t need the body scrubber, but I can see the need.

Functional but light duty

Work fine but cheaply made. Dropped a grabber from table about 30” and 1 side of arm broke off. Good thing there’s 2! The leg lifter may not be long enough for some users.

Still learning how to use some of this stuff but it is coming in handy.

My friends mother fell and broke her hip 3 weeks ago. Its been quite a big change for her life thats for sure. Even leaning forward is an issue. So far the grabbers have been the most useful from the kit. Still has to wheelchair everywhere in the house but mostly is bed ridden at this time.But the grabbers have been great the other stuff will come along later. DEFINITELY WORTH IT.

I feel like the bag should be a backpack, so I never get into a room without these tools. Especially the grabber tool and leg lifter strap. The others I leave in dressing area.

Good price - my new review

I wish the grabbers were a little stronger, or had more friction. Trying to pull pants over my feet & lower legs can be frustrating because they slip off. The little hook can sometimes help. The curvy design on the double hook makes them mainly useless. Items fall off very easily. They should be straight 45degree angles.

These items were very helpful after my back surgery on Nov 1. I am still using the grabbers, and the sock assist and shoehorn….all helpful until I can bend and reach.

Hip Kit Simplifies Life Post-OpF

This kit contains several items to use after Hemiarthroplssty to maintain grip precautions & the 90-degree + leg/hip/torso angle. The grabbers were effective altho a bit clumsy. The bath scrubber handle could be an inch or two longer for anyone over 5’10”. Appreciated the storage bag

Got primarily for the grabbers.

.which work great. Picking up icky stuff from the ground from litterbugs is gross, so three cheers for a pair of sticks that make it way less gross. They fold to be more compact, and work perfectly when open.The sponge on a stick will be used also. It's sturdy, but a soft sponge perfect for washing bits you just can't reach. Maybe post-op, maybe just not very flexible.The other items seem well made but are likely to be passed along to others who can use them better than me.

Bought for help after hip replacement.

This is a nice kit and a good value. The Grabbers are sturdy and we're a Godsend for me. We have five little dogs and I used them to pick up and put down their food bowls everyday as I was not allowed to bend at the waist following surgery. They were also helpful in getting my clothes out of the washer and dryer. I specifically bought this kit because it comes with two Grabbers, too keep one in the kitchen and the other on my walker. Shoehorn dress assist tool snapped on first use

The shoehorn assist tool snapped the first time I tried to take off a tube sock. I didn't seem that like I was applying more pressure than would be necessary to get the sock off. Now I have to order a new one at the cost of $17.00.

Helpful equipment & Excellent Customer Service

All the tools are helpful and work well. I did have one faulty grabber, but the customer service I received was excellent. The seller answered my emails within 24 hours and replaced the product quickly. Issues and accidents happen, but it's what a business does about it that makes repete customers
