Take control of your automatic transmission and shift it yourself to maximize torque and performance, or put it in drive for normal automatic operation. Versatile shifter mechanism can be used as a straight line detent shifter, or lift the trigger in "Low" to convert to ratchet action. Features backup light switch, neutral safety switch, and NHRA/IHRA reverse lockout,Includes T-Handle and 5' long shifter cable.Material:Aluminum, steel and plastic base. Automatic shifters (except cables) are backed by the manufacturer with a limited lifetime warranty. Application Summary : Fits GM TH400, 350, 250 and 200 automatic transmissions. Also fits Ford Lincoln and Mercury C4 and C6 automatic transmissions. Also fits 1966 and later Chrysler Torqueflite A727 and A904 transmissions. Does not fit TH700R4, TH2004R or AOD automatic transmissions. Cannot be used with reverse pattern manual valve body.

Easily shiftable for shifter

Works well, easy to use, I'd say if you're good with projects then he's a 10, but if not then let someone do it for you. I used fr for the first time on my hot rod at the track and was happy to put it on.

Very nice shifter, good for shifter

I converted a 1968 Ford Fairlane from column shift to floor shift. This switch was a great value and it's pretty easy to install. Works great in place of a standard floor switch and requires a smaller floor opening. The switch is comfortable and smooth.

I use mine mainly on the strip and it works.

I mainly use mine on the strip and it works as expected. The problem is that there is no PRNDL lit and my car has no interior lights. This makes it impossible to see at night without an additional light source.
