Before removing, take a photo of the current pump.

Perfect for our 2003 Jetta. A new O-ring was in the box. The marking on the new pump is not quite the same as the one installed, so better take a picture of it before removing it. It's also best to replace the pump when the fuel tank is low or empty. It is safer and less float problems when removing and installing the pump.

The set and the quality are top notch.

Bought this pump for my daughter's bed bug. I run an auto repair shop in Las Vegas. The average pump in town costs 100.00+ more than this one. I took the risk and ordered this pump. Installation took about 20 minutes. A fuel pump seal was included. After installation, the Beetle started immediately. There is no more light code and I was able to convey the smog. I have over 20 years of experience in the automotive industry. The set and the quality are top notch.

Attention, the new Beetle fuel pumps have two flange sizes: 4.8 " and 5.4 ". Make sure you know which one you have before you buy it.

Read the compatibility information at the top of the webpage carefully. "Plastic fuel tank, fuel pump module with 4.8" OD flange." I forgot about this and the pump flange was too small to seal the gas tank. I needed 5.4" (actually 5.25" but they are listed as 5.4).") Flange. The flange is essentially the top of the device that covers the hole in the gas tank.
