Extremely Disappointed. The product is advertised as suitable for a 7.8 or 9 foot ceiling. The description doesn't mention that it can't be adjusted to fit a 7ft 8in ceiling. While other posts by this company can be customized as needed. Huge waste of time installing, waiting for a call from company, repacking and sending back.

So far, so good. Bought this for a family member who needs help getting out of the toilet. Installation was pretty easy. I love that nothing had to be drilled in the newly renovated bathroom. Major advantage. For some reason I thought the handle would rotate, but it doesn't. And now that I think about it, it becomes clear that he stays in place. The primary user of this pole is a male who is about 5ft 9in tall and weighs about 200lbs. So far he's been strong.
