Does exactly what it should!

It works exactly as described. This is great for my extended desktop in my home office. It also has a mirror function. The USB end plugs into my laptop while the 15-pin end plugs into the monitor cable. I'm glad I couldn't resist and bought it. That makes the work a lot easier! πŸ‘πŸ»

Needs your grandfather's CD drive to get software

Update: There is a mini CD that looks like the side of a software envelope. It works now but still bad as I had to find a luddit that still had a floppy drive and copy the software to a flash drive. Original Rating: Doesn't work at all in any form. My HP laptop, which does not have a VGA port, only USB, does not recognize an HP Compaq monitor. That's an ugly $11 paperweight. Bought to use an external monitor plus laptop screen. Minus one star. Useless.

Where is the support and self help for downloading drivers from the website?

I was able to set up the key but also got lost trying to find support and downloading the latest driver. That really worries me. ABLEWE: Your products can be great if you only provide the drivers for download on your website. I'm still considering whether to return my purchase. They work, but the problem is that the driver included with their CD emulator doesn't support 1600x900 resolution and I have no way of getting the latest driver that might solve this problem. Not compatible with computer cable adapters

This USB to VGA cable does not work on my Windows 7 Professional computer. It comes with a Chinese driver CD that you need to install and that should be my first flag. After running into the install via the Windows driver automatic installer, I used the CD. This allowed a very bad duplicate to appear on my second screen. In the Windows resolution, the settings did not recognize the second monitor. I tried reinstalling the driver multiple times before giving up and asking for a refund. Revain…

Does not work in computer accessories and peripherals

I installed the device on a Surface Pro 7 connected to a VGA monitor. After installing the driver I rebooted and a wallpaper appeared, progress. BUT there were no links to the desktop. I started my browser, then File Explorer, then Outlook. There was no display of these applications. After moving the mouse, the taskbar appeared, but no other images.
