Cheap plastic better

Cheap plastic cable holders broke real shit wish I spent a few bucks more and got a better one don't take that ok if you want that your cables stay accurate and the lid didn't fit decently, thought I'd saved a few bucks, guess I should have designed the cable holder outside of the box to hold the wires, what a pain since it went through the return window .

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Clarity

Poor quality no as described

The box is made very cheaply. I have bought several from different sellers, this is the lowest quality. Using a screwdriver, tighten the clamp holding the wire in the box and snap off the screw head. you're kidding me I've never seen a screw go into plastic and the head break off! The product does not match the description or the picture. Has no color code on the tips of the cleats. The lugs are very loose and wobble in the box. I used the supplied nuts to tighten the bolts and bought extra…

Pros
  • Test for one year
Cons
  • Good but not great

Full of cheap junk

DO NOT waste your money on this cheap junk. When I opened the Revain package everything was torn and had holes in it. 5 of 7 nuts and washers were missing, as well as cover screws. There is NO gasket around the lid, so there is NO way to "weatherproof" this thing! False advertising, the thing is weatherproof at best! Also, the holes in the lid don't even line up with the mounting studs in the box! All the bolts on the electrical box are loose and the wire clamps are very cheap plastic, I don't…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Not as thick as other collections

Great RV Junction Box - Lights

First fast shipping and well packaged item arrived safe and sound. No need for support. I really like this box. I am converting my 36 foot gooseneck trailer and bought it to be able to connect a 14 foot auto wire harness and actual trailer wires together in one easy to use junction box. Each connector on the box is labeled with the color of the cable and the intended use of the cable. The strain reliefs seem solid and gaskets for the box that mounts and doesn't mount the wire are included in…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Available in black only

Good quality and versatility - see actual dimensions here

This is very good quality and should help me install a new fork on my trailer and troubleshoot if needed. I wish they had given the exact measurements in the description. Those listed in the technical details are also disabled. This box is 6.5 inches long not including mounting tabs. It is 3.25 inches wide and 2.25 inches high. I'm glad it's smaller than they said - it would be too big. Slightly easier to attach with nylon ties, but should be easy to drill a few extra holes in the grommets…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not the best

I highly recommend them they work well

Ok I bought 2 of these items. For the price you can't beat them. Pros: They are very useful. I have one attached to my trailer to organize the lights and I will be attaching a second one to my truck to make adding extra wires easier. They are marked with the 7-pin wiring standard. (Here's the trick, there isn't a single 7-pin standard (EVEN in the US)) They're big enough to handle multiple wires and connect to one pole, and the box is big enough to hold the wiring. Cons: They're not waterproof,

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

The only logical way to connect your trailer

So a little black box, so what? It is the heart of the trailer wiring harness that separates reliable trailer lighting from haphazard lighting at best. I installed this junction box as close to the center of my trailer as possible. This allowed me to run the shortest possible wire to each light. Since my trailer has brakes I needed a five wire harness and figured it would be better to use a seven wire connector so I don't have to carry around an extra adapter which of course could be out of…

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Screws don't work: External accessories

First of all, these boxes are much larger than I expected, not counting the product descriptions. Instead of drilling holes in the trailer frame for mounting bolts, I simply used construction glue to glue the boxes. It worked very well. Obviously I didn't have the one rubber grommet that was used to seal the holes in the box so I had to use the one that had the hole for the wiring and use gasket to seal it. Also, the screws used to secure the top of the box were either too short or their holes…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs

Seven Pin Junction Box

I bought this box with other associated components to rewire a horsebox. Good first. There were seven wire bolts in the box, lots of rubber boots and two built in cable connectors which were very helpful in securing the cable to the 7 pin connector I was using. Second, not so good. Seven 10-32 studs were supplied with only one nut per stud. The cleats are mounted in the plastic base of the box and wobbled a bit. I figured it was best to use the factory nuts that come in the box to tighten and…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky
