We kept short-handled HD scrapers on our hands and knees while scraping old linoleum adhesive off concrete floors. We thought it would be better to have a bigger blade and stand up to apply more power - if the handle locked it would be fine, but it doesn't stay locked in the extended position. Basically it makes it meaningless.

As mentioned in other reviews, lengthening the handle is pointless as it doesn't actually attach to the existing handle. very strange design. I was expecting the scraper to be heavier to help clean up, but it's fairly light. With great difficulty I was able to remove some of the carpet adhesive - very slowly - but I could not remove the linoleum.

Good quality heavy duty scraper. However, it is not very suitable for mopping floors. I try to salvage as much wood as possible and remove the carpet and tiles. This scraper simply gouges the ground, and no matter what angle you hold it, it will smash into wood. I wouldn't recommend it for houses and hardwood floors where you want to save money. The medal's flat surfaces are great, but not on the wood you're trying to save.

Bought to clean the glued pad on the living room trim. He claims that to use it, you simply "twist” the product to the desired height. Yes, no, that's not possible. You get 2 or 3 scratches and the handle breaks. I have never used such a useless product in my life. I'm thinking of drilling a hole in it and putting a bolt and nut in it to keep it from collapsing. I would NOT recommend this product.

After reading some of the negative reviews I was a bit wary but when this tool arrived I quickly realized it was just what I needed to clean up old carpet glue to remove a concrete floor. . The tool worked perfectly, the weight of the tool helped remove the glue. Removing the glue was easy thanks to the sharp blade, so be sure to order replacement blades. Contrary to some other reviews, I had no issues with the handle breaking after twisting to lock.

It may be a quality scraper but I can't tell you because the handle is funny! It tightens by friction when you twist it one way and loosens when you twist it the other way. The problem is that there's no way to lock it once it's set, and if you try to use it you'll spend more time holding it in place or worrying about the Slapping fingers when it slips and trying to cut them off doesn't really clean up. So it's like a scraper that doesn't scratch because it's too busy trying to pry a finger…

The previous owner of my house gave the kitchen tiles a horrible glaze and a weird color to the hardwood floors in the living rooms. I spent hours putting everything together with a steam mop and various scrapers. It wasn't until I got this one, with the longer handle and larger "razor", that I didn't make any noticeable progress. It REALLY does its job: I'm noticing now, especially on hardwood floors, that the original paint is showing through and the weird paint is peeling off. This is a good
