Handy item ideal for hand tools

I haven't used mine but my mechanic has them so I saw them in action. I don't have the strength (a 70 year old female) to use a torque wrench and mine doesn't work so I bought it after seeing my mechanic use it. It's so smooth you use it with an airflow, and it's rated for a specific torque pressure so you don't have to worry about the lugs being too loose or too tight (like the guys at the tire shop put them on). . I had to stand on the wrench to take them off when I had a flat tire from…

Works better than expected

This great tool (ABN 65 ft lb) saved me a lot of time. The torque for my RAV4 is 76 ft lb and this extension consistently delivers 70 ft lb of surface when my Husky H4480 Air Impact Wrench is set on medium. If I use a low setting, the lug nuts are too loose. When I use the high setting they overtighten. This extension allows me to quickly mount tires and then finish them off with my torque wrench. I am very happy. If this doesn't work for you, try different settings on your air impact wrench.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Convenient for electric percussion gun

ABN 1/2" drive 8" long torque socket extension I used to use a torque wrench to tighten lug nuts after threading them in with an air hammer. (Stronger is NOT better) I was recently electrocuted for requiring higher torque and not running the air compressor as hard. But after you let go of the trigger, the damn thing will "slip" and overtighten the nuts. my (admittedly uncalibrated) torque wrench. I am pleased that the torsion bar does a good job of limiting torque to the 100 ft-lbs target. I am

Works well after repeated use.

This lever is ideal for most light trucks and SUVs. I've used it on multiple vehicles every business day since purchase. The only reason I gave it 4 stars for accuracy is because I have a fairly powerful percussion pistol that runs at 130psi and when I checked it was 142ft/lb of torque. That being said I would have to assume that a 1/2" hit of a normal famous brand at 90psi would be very close to 120ft/lb. But I won't stop and do math lol. The bottom line is, if you want a reliable crank with…

Cons
  • Very Expensive

Close enough and that's good!

This is actually pretty accurate. I gave it 4 stars because there is some difference in torque when I tested it with a snap torque wrench. At the same time, the difference was close enough not to cause problems for most applications. Generally, the deviation was within 5 foot-pounds. This may be related to the impact angle of the impact wrench, as there isn't always enough clearance to line up the nut exactly with the 8" extension. I've encountered a discrepancy with some motor mounting bolts…

Pros
  • BUILT FOR DURABILITY: Constructed of chrome-molybdenum steel (CR-MO) and manganese phosphate for maximum strength and durability, rust and drop resistant; A green, color-coded aluminum ring identifies this extension as 65 feet per pound (90 Newtons/meter); The size is also laser engraved on the stem for quick identification.
Cons
  • Not sure
