This product is installed on my Marantz SR6012 AV Receiver. If you own a Marantz, you know exactly how hot they can be. I had a temperature of about 130 degrees when I shook it pretty hard before installing this cooling system. Now I can rock that thing all day and the temperature stays below 30 degrees. I've had my Aircom T10 for a week now and am very happy with how it works. to switch on and off. I checked the temperature first thing in the morning before turning on the entertainment system and the fans turned on and off. This surprised me, especially since the temperature of the probe was below my response temperature. I tried Auto mode for a few days but found the fans were loud enough that we could hear them in quiet scenes in a movie or TV show. I contacted tech support and got a reply…

I don't listen to my movies at full volume, closer to 1/2. I live in a townhouse and I try to be respectful to my neighbors and I don't need it to be too loud. However, during dialogues and silent scenes, you can hear the fans. I preferred Smart mode and limited it to only 1-3 fan speeds, but 2 and 3 are too loud and 1 is mostly too loud depending on the scene. If you set smart mode, it always works. so this feature doesn't work very well at all, IMO. I've found that it's best to leave it on…
