What a difference in coil packs

My mechanic installed these new coils on my truck in under two hours and I'm very happy with the end result. This is my first time using Accel products, but I can tell you if I'm looking for "efficient" products at a reasonable price in the future, Accel will be my choice. Incidentally, I upgraded my exhaust system with larger pipes and Flowmaster mufflers, which ultimately showed the weakness of my factory coils. More air flowed through the system and the old factory coils just couldn't keepโ€ฆ

Easy installation, fits spares

Worked well for my 2006 Ford Mustang GT. It was as easy as disconnecting them, loosening one screw per coil, pulling them out and installing new ones. No problems with it, mileage 20000km. I didn't notice any real difference in acceleration, nor any significant difference in gas mileage. After 6 1/2 years and about 70,000 miles they started to fail. Although they worked fine I think I will return to the bikes because I can get them for the same price and the old engines still ran 80,000 milesโ€ฆ

ACCEL Coils: Coil Sets

I installed a set of 8 ACCEL coils on my 2005 Ford F-150 with a 5.4 liter V-8 engine and 72,000 miles. I did the coils at the same time I changed the spark plugs, mostly for the labor savings. ACCEL coils fit just as well as OEM. With new spark plugs and coils, the engine idles smoother and feels more responsive under acceleration. ACCEL uses high-quality materials, which according to the specifications should last longer, and has experience in the development of high-performance products. More

Good product! for parts

I can honestly say that I rely on these reviews when shopping and this is my first purchase so I figured I would "prepay". Bought this version of the ignition coils (3 valve) and installed them on my 2004 F150 XLT 5.4 Triton Supercrew 4 door and it works like new. I also had some wobble or hesitation at idle and at various speeds. This symptom was very irregular and sometimes disappeared within a few days. I decided to buy it after reading the reviews and can only recommend it. This isโ€ฆ

Super Cool Replacement Coils OEM

I have a 2007 Ford Explorer Sport Trac with a 4.6 liter 3 valve V8. When I got it (one owner used, <30,000 miles) it was bouncy and started with no problems being such a heavy, high profile car. I was very pleased. As he got older he became like an old dog, still your best friend but he can't keep up with the times like he used to. At about 85km it started having what I thought were transmission problems - going out of overdrive and not shifting at about 45mph under a light load. The funnyโ€ฆ

  • Amazing
Cons
  • Out of fashion

First I have to give a very negative review of the cheap unmarked bay bulls also sold at Revain. Because the moment I installed them my 08 F250 was back in the game, no codes, no dropouts or lags! Review or cheap Chinese product: I have changed spark plugs and COPs on several vehicles over the years namely a 2005 Mustang GT, a 2001 Expedition and my current 2008 5.4L f250 and my Jeep Grand Cherokee 2007 Chevy k3500 1995 and Buick LaCrosse 2005, I also have a great $350 Bosch code reader.
