Poor quality Failed after about 20 minutes, scrap

The steel in the holder is very soft and poorly balanced inserts are not very good at cutting with high levels of vibration and noise. Save your money, it's just not worth it. I would have sent it back but missed the return date.

Pros
  • cutting angle of 90 degrees. Screw in the insert. Radial rake angle: -10 degrees. Axial rake angle: +7 degrees
Cons
  • Upgrade available

Don't buy in softness.

I really wanted to love these end mills but they are too soft steel. Like a locksmith, the carbide has to break before the holder. The first one I bought broke the stem under normal conditions, which is what I do with HST all day. For example, I say I wanted to love her, so I spent $30 more and bought a second one. On the first part, I pulled out the carbide screw even under normal conditions. I did not contact support, most likely they will say that I missed it.

Pros
  • Cutting edge diameter D: 3/4 inch Shank d1: 3/4 inch. Overall length: 3-1/2". ap: 0.410". Liner #: 3.
Cons
  • Short Guide

A bit noisy but for the price it cuts well.

A pretty decent tool for the price. Works great with aluminum. Test cut at 0.125 DoC, 40% increments, 750 fpm. the city of steel chatter, although if you're trying to run it, every fodder is worth the wait. However, higher quality inserts can help here. I have some other 2-3 edge Accusize inserts that work great in both mild steel and stainless steel. I lost a star because the shaft was a bit too small, so I didn't enjoy the set screw mount. Popped it in the collet and all was well

Pros
  • Screw: M2.5 x 6.5. Insert: APKT11T308
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Absolutely perfect indexing in the mill for its intended purpose.

This is an amazing little indexed in Mill. You get all the properties of solid carbide for less than high-speed steel. You simply can't go wrong with this tool for the intended application. I use this as one of my cutters at Wheat State Welding LLC in Derby, Kansas. I don't have to worry about dumping a $300 solid carbide on a milling machine when I can load this thing up and make shavings for days. and it is not a mid-cut product.

Pros
  • All types of face, side and full slotting (end mills) of steels, alloy steels, stainless and heat-resistant steels, cast iron and aluminum alloys.
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
