Great for Chevy Cruze

I bought this for my 1st generation Chevy Cruze, I got an aftermarket tank with metal reinforced necks but wanted to get an OEM cap as they are known to be more reliable.

AC DELCO Cap On Radiator Cap

Quality replacement cap for my 11 Silverado. The previous cap broke due to the o-ring getting stuck in the reservoir. Ordered at a gas station in Grand Rapids, received at my home in Indiana the next day. Ideal!

Perfect fits standard

This thing does what it's supposed to do, I mean it's just a coolant cap. But it fits perfectly as promised and arrived on time. If I ever need one again, I'll get it from here.

Cons
  • Not all will fit

15psi great for 2008 GMC Sierra 4.3L V6

Product works as advertised for my 2008 GMC Sierra 4.3L V6. Do not follow Revains recommendations when purchasing a reservoir cap as they recommend a 20psi cap which will not fit on a 2008 GMC Sierra 4.3L V6 as it would over pressurize the system and the coolant hose while driving broke off. . Needless to say I ordered a matching 15psi cap and haven't had any issues since.

Bad design that has been fixed.

The old design had a center plug which was used to seal the tank which connected to the cap so when unscrewed the plug rotates and at the same time lifts out of the expansion tank. . This caused the fork to break after too many disassemblies. I went through two covers this way. With the new design, the plug is not fixed to the cap, so it only moves in and out of the reservoir when the cap is tightened or loosened, rather than rotating. Works much better.
