With packaging, printed instructions from the 1960's and an upgraded circuit it was almost perfect for a carburetor rebuild.

Worked well except the accelerator pump diaphragm is beyond repair. I don't know if the one in the carburetor was factory or aftermarket, but the cup couldn't be replaced. If I knew that, I would look for a kit with a complete pump assembly. Everything else was excellent.

Used to overhaul the carburetor in a 1978 Chevrolet K10 350 engine with four jet carburetor. From the moment he saw the fuel, took it apart, checked the seals to make sure I hadn't accidentally ripped them, checked to see if anything was deformed, resealed, the fuel leaks are worse everywhere. Long story short, this kit was leaked both times and I installed the other kit with great success.

Ordered to restore my Chevy 86's carburetor. I checked the model number of the carburetor the kit was for and ordered it. When I received it, almost none of the parts worked. I ended up using a lot of the original materials and just replacing the needle, seat and seals. Then he tried to start the car, but she didn't even try. It also turned out to be the wrong needle and seat that was not leaking fuel. I had to take everything apart and buy a completely different kit.

This kit, despite what it says, will not work with Q-Jet carb #17058213 or a carb with a top center carb body gasket like this one. Pictured is my original/correct seal. The seals in the kit are not original and will NOT work. Which now sucks, the only way to be sure is to take it out of the box (voiding the right of return) and check because the seal is hidden at the bottom of the box and can't be seen without closing it to open. Very happy with this ACDelco kit. The kit contains everything you need to restore your Rochester Quadrajet to like new condition. It includes an ethanol safe rubber diaphragm and spring for the accelerator pump, throttle shaft seals, locks and screws, a valve seat (no window which I think is better than the old windowed seat) and gasket, needle and clamp.
