Worked great on my 02 C5 Z06

I fitted this to my C5 Z06 for rebuild with my fast 92 intake manifold and it worked great! It definitely beats the retail price of nearly $500! Factory part of the delco air conditioner at half the price? Yes, please! I just installed it 3 days ago and had no problems

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Hard to tell

The only place I could find the OEM throttle body

and it worked great. By the year they were installed on cars (at least 2005-2007 Vettes), GM stopped running coolant through them. This solved many of the issues you see in the online video. Replacement is as simple as removing the air duct, removing two wire connectors, removing 3 or 4 screws, removing and replacing the gasket (buy one of these two) and vice versa. Project. Maybe half an hour, and that's considering cleaning up the DMRV while everything is dismantled.

Pros
  • was a good product for its price
Cons
  • no performance

Stay Away From The Dealer

This is the same Ac Delco Choke sold at every dealer. I've seen online quotes ranging from $300-$450, and the local Chevrolet dealership wanted to say $600-$700. The same dealer was willing to charge nearly $1,000 (price includes a new TB) for a replacement part. The new TB was installed in a 2007 Chevrolet Corvette that started going into Low Engine Power mode. Apparently I had problems with the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor), unfortunately the sensor cannot be replaced in these TBs. Luckily…
