ACDelco 25809368 Original Equipment Trunk Review

Nothing to like as this was exactly the replacement part I needed. Fit, workmanship and functionality were first class.

Very good fit for my '89 Cadillac Eldorado. The facility is not bad. Self-tapping screws in a plastic mount seemed cheap. But it took about 15 minutes to install and is working pretty well so far.

Why GM made them out of brittle plastic I'll never know unless you need to buy more! They're almost $400 at the dealer, so it was nice to find them for a little over half the price.

Bought for my C6 Conv Power Top. Easy replacement with just 3 small screws. My dealer charged $800 for the replacement. This is an easy fix for less than $250. The soft top works perfectly and is an OEM part. Took less than an hour (including 1 beer) :)

A car wash employee broke the internal worm gear (broken teeth) by slamming the bootlid shut with both hands! it is at home Was pleased to find that they are still making these NEW and were available in two days! At first I was confused because it says Delphi on the label, but after browsing the internet I found out that Delphi is actually ACDelco. They require the Cadillac trunk lid to be lowered. Don't wind them up first as I've read as you destroy the integrity of the connection. This requires a T-27 torx and you tighten it rather than trying to tighten it and stress the plastic.
