Perfect fit for my 2010 Silverado 1500 with 5.3L engine and was easy to install. If you have trouble removing the old alternator, use a small pry bar (after removing the bolts) and it comes off easily. If you have trouble installing it, use a rubber mallet to pry it back into place. It's a little tight, but not too difficult to install.

First of all I want to thank everyone who complained about the packaging. It worked, I received this generator in 2 boxes! Also, the generator in the box was covered with foam! This alternator is brand new, I installed it on a 2011 Cadillac Escalade in 32 minutes and it works perfectly. I hope this helps anyone else who is thinking of buying one of these.

The alternator fits our 2007 Chevrolet 2500 LS Suburban just like the original which made the dash, interior and headlights pulse but was still charged. The AC DELCO box was covered with foam around the generator to avoid damaging the transported part. Installed and there was no noise and pulsing lights. The only issue I have is that there was no warranty card to register the part in case the problem arises in the future.

Stay away from this product. I liked the 100% new OEM aspect of this product, so I ignored the "It will be damaged in transit" warning in the reviews. and it turned out to be completely damaged in transit. The generator looks alright, but when it was shipped it's a wonder only the plastic case was cracked. It comes as a 20-pound piece of metal in a crappy, fully-sealed cardboard box. It's a crash. I was a little apprehensive about buying it at this price as it seems too good to be true. Neither does the main charge. The box came with what appeared to be certificates of authenticity on the outside of the box.
