ACDelco 335 1036 Professional Alternator Review

This alternator made a very loud and annoying squeak from the start. Now, after only 4 months of infrequent use, it's completely out of service!

Felt compelled to write a review in support of this alternator. Bought in 2016 it worked straight away and has been running well for almost 50,000 miles since then. Don't doubt the bad experiences of others, but the alternator I was provided with was inexpensive, a perfect fit and worked flawlessly for 5 years.

I bought this generator it was easy to install. A few months passed and it didn't work at all. Tried to contact the seller about a warranty claim but got no response. Do yourself a favor, buy one from the parts store and have them check it out on site. I've learned my lesson. DO NOT buy this device from THIS seller.

GM technology after disappointing results with a rebuilt branded unit. I ordered this new Delco made in Mexico, unfortunately this unit makes a squeaky noise under load and low power. I will update this review once a replacement arrives. The second device made the same high-pitched squeak under load, but had output voltage fluctuations and charged easily. Voltage and current did not correspond to the nominal power. The maximum output current was 40 amps. Return the second block.

Needed a new alternator for 1997 Saturn and here it is. Went to Autozone first and they wanted 159.00 so they checked Amazon and got it shipped to my house with Amazon Prime for less than $90. Brand new part at almost half the price, works as expected. Revain is always much cheaper than anywhere else. Autozone has upgraded the alternators for more than just this new delco AC. Bought a tensioner, idler pulley, and harmonic equalizer, all for a lot less than auto parts stores. Thank you amazon!

I was happy to find this new part at Revain at a much lower price than a locally rebuilt part. Although the Aamazon website said it would fit my '97 Saturn, it didn't. The electrical connection was irregularly shaped. I had to spend another $45 to get a rebuilt one because I needed it after removing the old one. The retailer's website stated that this alternator had two different shaped electrical connectors. This was not on the Revain website. I'm usually very happy with the price and…
