Kinda inferior shape Original

Bought to replace a ticking tensioner. The hook is gone and works perfectly. However, the bearing used is not very high quality and the bearing mount in the roller wheel actually has some play, in contrast to the original wheel, where the bearing is still tight after 20 years. Work.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not automatic

Priced better than all competitors

They worked great with the LT1 engine, installation was quick and easy with no problems. The price was also a lot cheaper than what I found in other companies. Just so everyone remembers this is for the LT1 engine. They didn't come with the '95 through '97 Camaro or Firebird Serious, I believe check before you buy! A GOOD PRODUCT

  • Good thing

That was the right part. Only bad!

Partially received on time. The item has been properly secured by Revain's carrier. The manufacturer simply packages refurbished parts that were not new and did not meet specifications. The tension wheel was scratched and the bearings shot through. This one made more noise than the one I replaced. Turn on the NoNo zone tensioner and I'm as quiet as a mouse in a church house. 94Lt1 Roadmaster

  • Sturdy construction

Made in Canada, this AC DELCO product lasted just under a year.

96 Impala SS . 81,000 km so now after almost 2 years and 4000 km this part of the ac delco has failed. Tension knot is a must. After the car sits for a few days, the tensioner binds when starting and then makes a loud growl. I swapped it and now it's fixed. It took me about 1 year to figure it out and with a 1 year warranty it's not a good deal only 4000 miles. tested the new tensioner without binding. don't buy, won't last long.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • weak

Very good part! My problem solved!

This part saved me! I drive a 1996 Chevrolet Impala SS and this creaking sound is coming from under the hood. I thought it was my serpentine belt, so I spray-painted a Prestone belt patch on it and it seemed to work a bit, but the noise kept coming. I traced the source of the creaking to the idler pulley and tried spray-painting it with royal violet. It worked a little, but the creaking returned. So I took the tensioner off, tried to lubricate it and put it back on. It did not work. So I kept…
