Pair fitted to a 2000 Honda Civic EX coupe. The previous pair had 63,000 miles and one side was badly torn. New units work and look perfect!

I have ordered 3 in two separate orders. The first 2 are hard as I think they should be. Why is the 3rd so soft that I can easily turn it by hand? One star for poor quality control. Less than a week after installation I noticed that the boot was beginning to tear. Almost a year later, when changing the wheel bearing, I noticed that the ball joint bolt moved very slightly. When I removed the old ball joint from the other side of the car, which had not been changed since I had the car (55,000 miles and most likely original), the bolt was very stiff and difficult to move.
