Generator burned out, had to haul truck home from golf course. Local cost more than $400 for the rebuild, Revain $235 for a new OEM.

I had issues with flickering at first but after updating the charging system (big3) wires everything works fine. Constant voltage 14-16V even when idling.

Packaging was poor, box had a cut, alternator checked, plastic part on the back bottom was torn but I used it on my Chevy anyway, got it it 14.6 volts. Once I was in place it worked as it should

Please note that this alternator may have defects. I received one for my 2015 Silverado a few days after ordering. The box it arrived in was very thin and slightly damaged with parts sticking out in several places. I disassembled the part to check for damage, none were found. Then I tried turning the pulley to make sure everything was ok. The pulley turned, but it had to be turned by hand. It should rotate freely without binding. Ordered an alternator for a 2015 Chevy Suburban with a 5.3 liter engine that was underboosted. After installation, the knocking of the generator appeared. I found the pulley spins but locks up when it reaches a certain point. It even creates a vibration in the engine when I'm driving on the road.
