99 Silverado 1500 Intake O2 Sensors

Delivered very quickly, in one day. Both came in AC/Delco factory boxes with sealed packaging and instructions. The box says "Made in USA". I can't say for sure if it's a fake. I will comment if they don't fit or work but I'm very impressed at the moment especially the price difference to the dealership.

Pros
  • Good stuff
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Much cheaper than the store, same product

I paid $200 to have the passenger side replaced by a professional. I purchased this product and got the job done in less than an hour. I have a rear shoulder and my truck is a 20 year old rusty Yankee. You could probably do it in half the time. Just make sure you fix the problem that destroyed your old sensor or you'll have to do it again. Sometimes these creatures die of old age, but sometimes they are killed.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Quality

Raise the car somehow so that there is a place to work.

Easy to remove and install in your garden. Use an open-end wrench or an adjustable wrench. Be sure to apply thread lubricant. silver in a tube. I replaced them with 4Runner and Rx300 due to error code checking. The level of difficulty is low, just don't forget about the up and down currents. That's the one above the catalyst and the one after the catalyst.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Unreliable

Easy install for 2000 Silverado

Used penetrating oil left them for a few minutes, picked up the truck until the wheels were off the ground. They came off with a switch and a little effort. Disconnect the wider pigtail and put some anti-seize on the new one and install it, I tighten until it touches and stops, then connected 1/4 turn more than the pigtail and fixed. Removal Note: The pigtails have a plastic zip that keeps them attached to the frame, some I just cut the old ones in half, they came out a lot easier than trying…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • There are new competitors

As my truck has done almost 190,000 miles and I still have four original oxygen sensors I thought it would be a good idea to replace them. My truck has two of these and two of the other item. I've had intermittent error codes on two sensors over the last year and when I checked the live data they were all working. They say that when O2 sensors get too old, they may not fail completely, but respond slowly, fail to meet spec, and send incorrect data to the computer, directly affecting MPG. I used

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Out of style
