ACDelco EP241 Original Equipment Electric Review

Less than 3 months after installation it's making howling noises and almost leaving me stuck. It's time to return to the improved pump; those old EP241s sucked in the 80's and suck now. Do not worry.

Easy to install after the hard work of removing the gas tank from the car. After completing the installation, the fuel pump will work properly with a good pressure value. AC Delco is a good choice for my 88 IROC.

I had a "Made in USA" item. Everything is fine, it has been working perfectly for over a year. Don't buy a cheap Chinese product if it takes so long to install. [Update] The pump has been working properly for many years. Still going strong. Please note that Revain's description now states that the pump is made in China so all bets on the pump you buy now are void.

Autozone may offer parts with a one-year/lifetime warranty, but if you don't use them and want to be constantly removing and replacing your parts, go for better brands. I bought this for my 1987 Chevy Camaro IROC-Z 350 TPI. I just removed the old broken one and it was plugged in and working. Installing and removing the gas tank is another story, however. Excellent product. used an acdelco ep 241 on our 1985 camaro z28. (d/d). works perfectly. fast delivery. good price. would buy again. excellent quality. The 1 I'm replacing is a Delco that's about 20 years old. Here's a hint. To lower the tank, the exhaust has to come off. You can either unscrew it from the catalytic converter or cut the pipe.
