Cutting ABS Wire for Spare Parts

When I opened the box to remove the unit, I noticed that the ABS cable had been cut in half and taped to the other half of the cable. This clearly happened at the factory as this was not a used device but a freshly packaged device. It was a clean cut. Make sure you open the box he checked out as it seems they have very poor quality control on their products.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • No Automatic

Faulty wheel sensor out of box

Installed on Suburban 20111 and fits as described. After completing and testing the system through code C0040-00 Right Front Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit. It had a defective wheel sensor out of the box. You would think that by spending extra money to buy an OEM part, everything would be out of the box. I'll be working on a replacement with Revain and will update the post afterwards. There's nothing like doing the job twice!

Pros
  • Annual test period
Cons
  • Negative present

I considered other aftermarket bearings but after reading other reviews and deciding that for something as important as a wheel bearing an OEM would be a better fit I bought this one. Arrived on time and fits perfectly. I watched a video on how to replace the old one and the installation was easier than I thought. The sealed bearing is so different from the old bearings.

Pros
  • An Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Some Difficulties

Sent with wrong ABS speed sensor

The hub itself was fine but after installing and the final step of connecting the sensor I concluded the end was wrong . As you can see from the photos, it is significantly different from what is shown in the photos. Revain directs you to ACDelco, which then sends you back to Revain (ever tried speaking to Revain?). I could return it but I won't do all the work to roll it back just to return it and sit at my car without a wheel for another 4 days. The money you save on the hub can be…

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from the testers
Cons
  • Negative impression

Fits in replacement parts as expected

Fits perfectly. Suggest you get a fender as well as I damaged my guard while taking out the old bearing. I live in the northern US where we get rust from all the road salt. My car has 150,000 km. It took about an hour's work with some chisels to dig up the old bearing. That crushed my fender. I also replaced the three bearing mounting bolts with new Dorman assemblies. The new bearing fitted perfectly and eliminated the bearing noise I was having. The bearing started to loosen and I started…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Some bugs

Great item at a great price.

I bought this for my 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500 long cab because I took my truck to the local dealership because of a slight "whistle" in the front of my truck and they said I need bearing unit of left front outer hub. The dealership charged $800 for parts and repairs which I think is mugging and they charged me $100 just to look at my truck. This is the best price I have ever found for a genuine GM part. It took me about an hour and a half (a real mechanic could easily do this in 45 minutes) to

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • I'm having problems
