Severely sprained ankle about 4 years ago. and can very easily make it worse. I do a lot of house remodeling, geocaching, etc. which makes me prone to sore ankles. IMHO many of them are too bulky to carry to a tennis show. I've tried several types with lace elastics and then velcro straps - and now finally this elastic. I bought one of these over 10 years ago. It got loose so I decided to replace it. Inside the old label is written "big". So I ordered "Large/Extra Large" as a replacement. Well, I guess Ace's definition of "big" has changed. The one I received has "LG/XL" on the tag but it's a lot smaller than the old one. In fact, it's so tight that I have to take it off after about an hour. There is also a manufacturing problem or error. A fabric band is sewn around the hole where the back of the heel enters.
