🔩 Pack of 50 Dome Head Hex Cap Nuts, 8# 32 Acorn, 304 Stainless Steel 18-8, Plain Finish Review

Have looked everywhere to find a dome head this size and was glad to find them online. Fits well and I have a few extras just in case.

I have been converting two old gliders and the 10 #24 nuts were of better quality than anything I could find locally. They arrived quickly and worked beautifully.

I bought some brass plated acorn nuts from the hardware store and it was a tragedy. I pierced the tip by pulling it down. This 304 stainless steel did it and costs a lot less for 4 times more. The stainless steel looks shiny and the dried wood glue rubs off immediately, which helps in my case. Ideal for covering the ends of screws that might accidentally come into contact with a person.

I used these to cover the pointed ends of some #8 bolts that were sticking out about 1/8 inch from an airplane hangar sliding door. I catch my clothes on the ends of the bolts as I try to squeeze my fat butt between the nose of the plane and the hangar door when the plane isn't fully seated against the parking lugs. Works perfectly! PS The screws hold the corrugated iron door skin where repairs have been made over the last 50 years.
