Perfect aftermarket replacement. Saved a lot of money on simple repairs.

good, toyota prius c. Both front door drives failed 2 weeks apart. Took me about an hour on the first side (driver's side), it's a little harder than this. Key comes out fine. a rod goes through. You have to push the old one down and then like Tetris. If you move it without falling straight down, you can jam the bar and make it much more difficult to remove. After the old one is out, install this new one in the same way. it took about 15 minutes including removing and replacing the panel…

Buyers BEWARE this works but can easily get a ONE STAR rating

It works. How many? who knows as i just installed it on a 2010 rav 4 two days ago. That's all the pluses I have. It's certainly not close compared to OEM parts, but it's not in the price range either. again as long as it works. CONS As noted by other reviews, the electrical connector is not secured as it lacks the small tab it is supposed to snap into, the original latch fits snugly. Since I had already taken it apart I put a piece of tape on top to hold it in place. It doesn't have the…

Power Interlocks Fixed on a 2008 Toyota Highlander

The power interlock on my 2008 Toyota Highlander stopped working, either because of the power button inside or the key fob. This has happened before but the car was under warranty so Toyota fixed it for $0 but it cost $800 ($350 for parts + labor). The fix didn't cost me $800 so I saw this and thought I'd give it a try for $35. Because of the difference in price, I had doubts as to whether this was the correct part and whether it would work. A few Youtube videos later and the door works great…

Rest assured you can DIY; it's not too hard!

Start by looking for Toyota Door Panel Removal. You will see that switching the actuator is actually not a difficult task. But then you will see that there is nothing wrong with removing the bezel on Highlander 2nd Gen 2009-2012. I will try to wake you up, but you are responsible for the damage. First, grab the plastic sheet tools; they make the job easier. Remove the plastic cover holding the side mirror. So from the side of the window. Remove the plastic cover behind the inner door handle to…
