Works great. Great sign. Much faster than my last one. Would buy again. I'll update this review if I run into any issues in the future, but I've been using this Wi-Fi adapter for a few months now with no problems.

My old one didn't work so well after I bought a new router from Comcast. After trying another brand that didn't work and was complicated, this one worked. I just plugged it into a USB port and everything works beautifully. I would buy it again if I lost it. Yeah like I'm gonna lose it giggle

Plug and play. Worked straight away with no problems. Windows 10 recognized it and didn't require driver installation. This severely affected my internet speed (100Mbps with adapter, only 30Mbps without adapter). My router is in a different room, so it amplifies the signal.

I bought this for my old desktop PC so I can connect to the internet wirelessly. It comes with a small installation CD. At first I was worried because the CD install didn't work, but when I plugged in the USB adapter, the driver showed up immediately and I was able to connect to my wireless network on the internet. So easy! And the internet works great!

I bought my gaming PC two years ago with a great Black Friday discount. Everything is fine with this desktop, and even the flash drives were from a reputable brand. My only complaint, however, was the small Wi-Fi adapter that was included. This WiFi adaptation is not very stable and the connection range is limited. Sometimes I even have to change his position. Finally, I settled on this new Wi-Fi adapter. Thats much better. The connection is much more stable and the speed is fast.

Maybe I don't understand the purpose of the adapter. If I had a computer without built-in Wi-Fi or similar, it would probably work just fine. I have an old laptop and my internet speed was slower than my new laptop, so I decided to try this adapter along with a new router to see if I could improve my internet speed. I've found my internet speed to be consistently slower when I turn on the adapter than when I'm not using it. Waste of money for me but maybe not for you.

After I converted the mini CD they sent me to a full size regular C format, the installation was successful. If you don't have a tray, you can't use the mini CD. The laptop I have I have to put a CD in and it won't pull it in. If I pushed it too far I wouldn't be able to get it out without disassembling the laptop. I don't think many users have the option to rip a mini CD to ISO CD. Copying files and folders to a full size CD didn't work for me, I had to use the disc copy feature. After that…

My old USB stick only provided 2 Mbps for download and upload. Speed. I just plugged this device in and my speed went up to 30Mbps. I only gave the device 4 stars because when plugged into one of my USB ports it is so wide that it blocks the next port making it unusable. I need access to all USB ports on my HP Mini Desktop. To use this on an Ubuntu 20.04 desktop, installing from the CD will not work as the installation GUI will not open. I installed it on Windows 10 to find out what chipset this device has. This is the 8812bu chipset family - Realtek rtl88x2bu. Therefore, all you have to do is browse the blogs for information on how to install a wireless driver on Ubuntu or Linux.
