is from a much bigger company by name, and had I mentioned them by name here they'd probably sue) but they are too bad. This wireless route adapter (essentially an antenna) plugs into a USB port, which you need to ensure the space for your CD-ROM drive in my laptop closes properly (mine barely keeps up), and You need a CD because the driver activates a CD - and if you don't leave the driver CD in the drive - the adapter won't work. What it does is boost the signal strength of a lousy Wi-Fi…

When I opened the box, found the product was unbranded, the installation instructions were a broken link and looked at the broken English in the windows install/software instructions I thought I had made a terrible mistake mistake. Thankfully, the instructions and software are still intuitive. I have this on Windows and Ubuntu on my dual boot machine. The Ubuntu instructions were easy and didn't even require a reboot. I use Linux exclusively and knowing that Linux has had very good support for Realtek-based devices for a long time, I decided to give it a try to attempt . Spring.
