May Not Fit 30 " Apple Cinema HD Monitor

Product specifications, instructions and illustrations require this VESA adapter to be mounted OUTSIDE of the monitor's anchorage, not inside. ( See PHOTO) At the moment the bracket is not attached and not as secure as it should be, I've tried to find screws that would go through the bracket as is but the non-standard screws that are supplied by Apple , are not fully threaded Gravity should keep the monitor stable, but I think this adapter fits smaller monitors better.

Works from 30 "! to TV ceiling and wall mounts

FYI I can confirm YES, this works with 30" cinema screens and 20" and 23" displays. Just use the included long screws from the stand. This adapter fits INSIDE the display mount because it's so large instead of attaching to the outside, but it's exactly the same as the original Apple VESA mount adapter. For the price, I'd like to see a fancy aluminum profile like the HumanCentric.

Pros: Works great, does what it's supposed to, supports my old 23" cinema display. The only real option for a 30 " Apple Cinema HD Display

The genuine Apple part it replaces (M9649G/A) was manufactured in extremely limited quantities and often costs more ($200+) on the used market than the actual screens it's attached to.This HumanCentric product is the only other option for a 30-inch Cinema HD display, the largest display Apple made before releasing the $5,000 Pro Display XDR made in 2019. Yes, it will fit Apple Cinema Display 30 " (M9179LL/A - A1083)

I bought an Ergotron desktop monitor mount because I wanted to see if I could mount my 30" Apple Cinema Displays might - I *didn't* originally go down this route because Apple states that the 30-inch ACD display doesn't support VESA mounting right out of the box.
