I don't personally own this air intake but I know a lot of people who have it on their cars. The AEM air intake for the RX8 is one of the few aftermarket air intakes that is well designed and actually (slightly) increases the performance of the RX8. AEM designed and manufactured this air intake for Mazda as the Mazdaspeed air intake for the RX8. If you later decide to build a custom turbo kit for your car, this is one of the few air intakes that can also be modified to bolt onto your turbo kit.

The AEM CAI for the Mazda RX-8 is actually a rebrand of the original MazdaSpeed CAI for the car. Whether the MS came after AEM or not, the two air intakes are the same and I'm pretty sure you'll spend a lot more than that deal just for the MazdaSpeed name. You won't notice a performance increase from a base mod for RX-8. However, the sound is quite nice and deep, and I like the rumble that comes slowly down the road. The quality is frankly amazing but don't expect anything other than a very easy install from this kit.
