AEM 21 493C Metal Intake System Review

As an automotive enthusiast, I was thrilled to install the AEM metal intake system. Based on my experience this product truly enhances the overall performance of a car. Through trial and error I found that the installation process was difficult, with vague instructions and Compatibility issues. The only pro was a slight increase in horsepower. However, this was overshadowed by the cons, such as the loud noise and poor fuel efficiency.Overall, this product was a waste of money and did not live up to its promises..

I'm giving 4 stars because I really like AEM, not five because Revane said it would fit my 2000 Golf GLS 2.0 but it's not quite suitable. It's just a slightly wrong size, I think the correct size from the AEM website is 21-492, but I put it in and it works great, I didn't have to bend or adjust anything. I'm planning on getting a GTI anyway, so I don't mind either, just leave it until then.
