Very easy to install. The only problem, and it seems to be the same for everyone, is "that stupid screw" holding the old canister in place. Put it in the wrong place. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. You did it in about an hour. At high revs you can hear the stalling. I didn't notice much of a difference, but I wasn't looking for an increase in gum burn. I put the exhaust on the other end and now the engine breathes much better. Arrived on time, installed on my 2010 Genesis Coupe 3.8. I didn't notice a huge difference in performance, but it makes acceleration quicker and the exhaust sounds a little deeper and clearer. As for the setup, it sucks! It was a tricky job not for the CAI to install itself but to take the washer fluid reservoir out of the car and fit the new one. It took me about an hour and a half to install. I recommend jacking up the car and removing the wheel, it will be easier.

As a lay person with a reasonable idea of what it does, fitting was quite difficult but not impossible. No wonder that stupid screw on the original windshield washer reservoir probably took the most time. I didn't have any tools to get at it, so all I had to do was cut open the attached plastic wash tub to remove the wash tub. With the 3.8 V6 I had some trouble getting the CAI fitted and tightened securely but with a little effort I installed it fine. The new air intake sounds very good…
