Aftermarket Replacement Pads Liner Helmets Review

Was very happy to find these, they came quickly and were very easy to fit. It only took about 5 minutes. They are a bit thicker than my originals.

Well made, easy to fit (takes a while) and fits perfectly. I used an air stapler and worked in the sun to keep the cover soft and supple and I was able to easily pull it over the old cover.

The original pads in my Ukon helmet were falling apart so I thought it might be worth a try. They appear to be a quality replacement. They're a bit thicker than the originals so they fit a little tight now but I'm sure that will improve as they break in.

Perfect fit for a helmet. Comes with extra velcro strips for peel and paste in case the originals got lost. I did not change the upper block as it was still functional. The side pads were very thin and wore out quickly. The replacement side pads are a thicker material, as is the top pad, so you need to go a lot bigger. Once that's done, you're good as new. Maybe better as replacements should last longer.

I ordered this because the foam pads in my 5 year old helmet were dusty. I replaced all the pads in my helmet except for the big V on my head. He was still in good shape. These pads are slightly thicker than the ones that were previously on the helmet. I loosened the attachment system in my helmet to allow for large pads. They are comfortable and even came with extra velcro straps although I didn't need them. I wish I had bought them sooner because I rode without padding for about 3 months.

Fits my 2002 Bell Ukon perfectly. The parts have the same shape but are thicker. When I put the helmet on it felt a little too tight, but I used it anyway and it seemed to wrinkle a bit. I suspect the original could have been a bit thinner because I wouldn't have bought the helmet if it was that tight.
