Works great.: Welder

Check valves checked correctly. Easy installation, works great with small decorations and custom orders that I make. There are also your regulators that work perfectly. Sincerely, Mike

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Better safe than sorry

Every oxyfuel welding system should have these to prevent backfire or flame pockets rising up the hose into a partially filled tank. A potentially serious hazard which, under certain conditions, could result in a serious accident. Cheap insurance. God saves the man who saves himself.

Don `t save. to welding devices and accessories

We do NOT skimp on flame arrestors. You can clearly see from the negative reviews of this product that quality is an issue. They endanger life and property. Quality flame arrestors from Victor, Harris, and Smith cost about $50 a pair or a little less. Spend.

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • unreliable

Good value for money. Designed to be mounted on the tank, not the burner!

Like others who have commented before me, I thought it was bass back when trying to install it on the flashlight. However, they are designed to be installed right after the regulators! The wrench measurements appear to be metric but I just took the SAE size and it was enough to tighten without damage.

Flash Suppressor

I've never used them in the 5 decades I've had flashlights. I didn't know about them until I saw them here. I came across them while browsing, read about their uses and thought they were good. They are designed to prevent the flame from getting back into the tank. Other sellers sell them at a significantly higher price, but in my opinion this seller sells them at a decent price. They were easy to install. I recommend "just in case” for the situation. You can never be too safe when handling…

Flame arrestors for flashlights.

Looks like other flame arrestors I've seen but cheaper. Installed in literally minutes and with proper tightening on my flashlight's regulators, I haven't felt any leaks. I can't confirm the effectiveness of Flash preventers, but then again, I hope I never have to rely on them alone. We grew up with a cutter and didn't have flame arrestors or check valves on the rig I grew up on. They just had to use safe handling techniques. Even if this is the case, everyone should follow these practices.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Great product Great price

I ordered AGPTEK Oxygen Acetylene Traps on October 29th. There was a catch initially because I got two oxygen spark gaps. I contacted Revain and asked for an exchange. They immediately sent a replacement set. Excellent customer service in my opinion. When I sent back the ones I had I didn't have to pay for UPS either. When I received the replacement kit it took me just 5 minutes to fit it, connect the hoses and I was on my way with the cutting handle. . The flashback traps appear to be very…

Soap test before use

First they need to be fitted to the burner on the regulator side, not the handle. Second, always test screw connections with soap before use. My first set of oxygen flame arrestors leaked at the unthreaded portion of the flame arrestor and failed. I sent it back for a replacement. The second oxygen soap has been tested well, but the oxygen pressure fluctuates up and down during use. It does not maintain a constant pressure. Recommend anyone who wants protection to consider the SMITH or Miller…
