Good for mopeds in the lighting and electrical departments

I like that velcro and screws are included along with a small zip tie to secure the tachometer. The battery is included, it glows green, which is convenient for night driving. When I first turned on the tach and rode my moped it was pretty accurate and worked really well. It even stores the max RPM to show you what the RPM is. The menu can take some getting used to, but I would recommend this product if you need a tachometer for a bike or moped. I have personally installed it on a Honda…

I didn't have to wrap the wire around the spark plug wire

I have a Husqvarna 350 chainsaw and this tachometer worked out of the housing that covers the spark plug and air filter. I didn't even have to wrap the wire around the spark plug wire. I noticed one of the reviewers said the same thing, so I gave it a try and was able to see idle and high torque RPMs. I turned on the LED display. to keep it on all the time when tuning/adjusting to make RPMs easier to see. You can turn off this speedometer by pressing the MENU and SET buttons at the same time…

Easy install is best for lighting and electrics

I didn't know how to install it when I bought it so I guess there are others like me. It's pretty easy. There is a battery and an induction/signal cable. You simply attach the main unit with Velcro or zip ties (or a nice 3D printed mount to attach to your mini bike handlebars like I did) - then wrap the signal wire around the spark plug wire (any will do). I use it to tune chainsaws and it works well

I used it to tune 3 chainsaws. These were a Husqvarna 142e, a Poulan Pro PP4218AVX and a 1979 Stihl 032 AV with dots and a condenser. I tuned them by ear and used them to test my settings. I shot about 3000 on low and about 13000 on high. He confirmed that my low settings were spot on (I had just over 3000 but the chain wasn't moving so the clutch wasn't engaged) and that my high settings were a little low. I used this to increase the high RPMs by tilting the H-bolt a bit on the carburetors. I…

I bought this for my twin cylinder Honda lawn tractor because it didn't have a tachometer or hour meter and I wanted to keep track of RPM as well as run time while I was working. Attachments. The biggest surprise was how accurate the revs are. I have a mechanical tach which I hooked up and tested and then installed and it was within 10 rpm; as close as possible.
