Few lights started, razor charger, occasional small fridge in my van. Completely dead after 12 months. No light, no electricity, nothing. It was a quick inflow of just under $1,000.

Don't worry if you don't need more useless weight in your van. Died less than 6 months after purchase. It's really difficult to work with the support team. It costs more to remove it and send it back to the manufacturer with no guarantee they will refund or replace it. Don't waste money.

After using this product in our RV for 3-4 months today it has stopped switching to AC. It tries this, makes a very loud bang and reverts to inverted mode. Because it doesn't switch, it doesn't charge the batteries. If it doesn't charge the batteries, it's useless. I hope there is a guarantee.

Purchased earlier this year. The first one sent back didn't work at all. Received a replacement and the inverter works, but the AC bypass does not work. I have tried in vain to get support. I think AIMS only wants to sell to dealers and individuals are the lowest priority. I already cut out the holes and mounted them, otherwise I would look for something else. WITHOUT SUPPORT!

I strongly do not recommend this product. The fire started at the AC input. 30A residential building with polarity detection wire before inverter/charger. Tech support wanted us to pay for shipping so they could ship the unit back, pay for the repair, and by the way. The one-year warranty expired after a few months. I was stupid enough to buy two of these devices. The first one stopped working, I sent it back at my own expense and was told it had water damage and would be very expensive to repair. Overall I liked this inverter/charger. It's a good price and I researched a wide range of inverters before ordering this one. The only problem I had was the battery selection. This is a small potentiometer similar to the charge current selection. However, the dial doesn't have position feedback, so you can't be sure what type of battery you've chosen.
