🚀 Airaid PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer - Enhance Performance with the 200-580 Model Review

4 stars because it looks nice and sounds good. The guide was pretty useless so it took a little longer because I had to figure it out myself. Installed on 97 s10 4.3.

I bought this for a 2001 S-10 Blazer with a 4" lifter and 33 wheels. My main goal was to have no loss of performance or fuel economy when installing the lift and tires In addition to the throttle valve spacer, I installed a programmer and a cold air intake, this combination was the be-all and end-all. I get better mileage and significantly more power than on factory tires!

I used this TBS on 'oo Bravada and installing it with the included instructions was confusing. Take your time and look at everything in front of you and how the throttle body works and you will figure it out for yourself much faster. As for "whistle", I didn't notice. My throttle response improved, but not by much. In terms of fuel efficiency, I noticed a slight drop of 1-2mpg. I won't say I'm disappointed with this product, but it definitely didn't impress me.

"(THIS ITEM DOES NOT WORK)!" , it is easy to install as planned but everything is correct but I got into the car and noticed a very strong vibration as if I was in a massage chair so I went home, removed the item and no problem. After the crash I took the item to my mechanic as I thought something was wrong but he did the same as me and the vibrations started again along with my service motor so we took the item. so overall it doesn't work and i am very dissatisfied with the product!

Installed my 98 GMC Sierra 4.3 Vortec to see what happened. This increased my idle speed by about 200 rpm, which became annoying and slow to stop. The slight increase in throttle response didn't seem worth it as there are other ways to achieve it. Keep in mind that I have absolutely no other engine mods. No cold air intake, throttle body, manifold, just a stock engine. The physics will work better on a vehicle where air and fuel come through the device, which then acts as a high-altitude air…
